Established in 1920, Rosebud County Library prides itself as being a major community partner in Forsyth and all of Rosebud County.  We also serve as the library to Treasure County and are currently focusing on finding ways to better serve those patrons.  Our library is ever-evolving and we pride ourselves on being a modern, progressive library that offers a range of services that includes a large collection of both non-fiction and fiction books, an impressive  assortment of Westerns, audio-books, DVD’s and music CD’s.  Computers are available to the public, in both desktop and laptop options, you can borrow iPads and tablets for in-library use, and we offer free internet and WiFi.    We are a site for testing, and proctor tests in both digital and paper form for a variety of institutions.  Staff is available, by appointment, to assist patrons with their devices and downloading e-books and audio books or for more time consuming computer assistance.  We also regularly offer classes on a variety of technology based topics in small group settings.  From September through mid-July, Story Hour is held on Fridays at 11:00am and we hold off-site craft & story times during the Rosebud-Treasure County Fair and the Hysham Street Fest.  We arrange for a wide array of programming, such as speakers, art shows, quilt shows, music, humanities programs, and youth activities like Summer Reading Program and teen events.  Stop by the library and take advantage of our many free services!
